About Us
Our Mission
The Foster Youth Education Fund provides financial and supportive resources to former foster youth seeking higher education. We believe every young person deserves access to the tools that can transform their future, regardless of their background.
Our scholars are enrolled in 2- and 4-year colleges, universities, and technical/trade schools across California. Many go on to earn Master’s and PhDs. Our approach addresses educational access, equity, and financial literacy.
FYEF is governed by a 100% volunteer board and partners with local colleges, nonprofits, and businesses to maximize impact.
